After Burning Man 2007, Heather and I took a brief road trip to Tahoe City, Lake Tahoe. There, Blue had rented out pretty much an entire motel right on the lake for about two dozen of us coming off the burn.
The next day, Labor Day, we took a cruise that crossed Lake Tahoe, all the way out to Emerald Bay and back. It was actually the best day I'd had all week. The lake is gorgeous, all rich deep blues and dark green trees on grey cliffs. I was just super happy and it was a very romantic little 4 hour voyage with Heather.
We took over this motel.
